Suddenly, for some reason, I cannot get access to bmp and jpeg pictures sent to me as e-mail attachments. Thepictures are displayed on the message but I cannot save the file. When such a picture is sent, as message is displayed which says "OE removed access the the following unsafe attachments in you e-mail:" their is, in fact, nothing wrong will the files. They are merely family photographs sent on from distant relatives. On the security/option tag I have selected INTERNET ZONE and I have not selcted the "Block Images" option. Can anybody help

open OE, click tools/options then security.

half way down is a tick box for "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail"

remove the tick from that box if it is ticked, then you should be able to view/copy/download the files.

not sure if thats where you were looking for the "Block Images" bit.

In OE go to Tools; Options; Security

Ensure that 'Block images and other external content ....' is not ticked.

Tools - Options - Security. Untick "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that may poentially be a virus"
