  mac.one 15:57 15 Mar 2007

Hi Was selling an item on ebay and someone managed to insert a link into my listing it lead to a web address different to mine And said it would lead to a buy it now price.
I contacted e bay who withdrew my listing after about 24 hrs.
My question is how has some one beeen able to access ebay without my password? no one else knows it and it's not stored on my computer.
I do run avg and zone alarm. Has access been gained at my end or ebay's?

Do you use a wireless connection when logging in to ebay?

I had my ebay account hijacked before xmas, and 150 pairs of sunglasses were listed.

I believe that my computer was not hacked but my ebay account was, as the numerous scans on and off line never found any nasties.

It took several weeks to get my account back and the money that was taken by ebay for the listing of the sunglasses.
