I have a 10 year old girl who has dyslexia. Does anyone know of any software she can use.
Thanks Tony

I have not used any of the products linked to here, so cannot personally vouch for them. However, should give you some starting pointers:

A lot of this appears to be based on speech recognition, which can be useful but is not infallible in the way it identifies the speakers words.

The key to this is getting your daughter to "train" the software in order to get the best results, time consuming process. As you may know special rules apply to children with this condition, and special exemptios and extra time is given in exams right up to University level. I would discuss this with her teaching staff and come up with a plan that suits all.

It can be very difficult for children to admit this to their peers, for fears of being labled "stupid"
