The three disks listed on this site, the Hewlett Packard disc, the Sony DPR120, the Sony DPR 120VD.I have tried to search Sonys site for info, but they don't have any information on them. The Hewlett Packard disc looks very cheap. I have a Sony DRU510A & will be using the discs mainly to record video from my camcorder.
there is, one has VD at the end of the product name. A DVD+R is a DVD+R if there was any difference it would be out of spec and wouldnt be a DVD+R.
The chances are it uses a different dye or has a coating on the disc but at the end of the day it is still a DVD+R.
I personaly like Infiniti DVD+R which cost £35 for 25 but i recently bought some no name generation 2 discs that cost £14 for 25 and there is no noticable difference in the discs abitlity to store video or data.
