I am running ashampoo burning studio version 7 on my pc, and when I burn DVD's the program says failed! Previously i used 'tuff disc' DVD-R and had no problems, but lately i have purchased some of 'maplins' own brand DVD-R and everytime they fail to burn no matter what i am trying to burn be it normal files or DVD's. Can someone please tell me where I am going wrong?

Thanks.

try burning at a slower speed (10x)

If a slower speed doesn't work, you will need to revert to your old,or a different brand of dvd.
All the writers i have had dislike certain brands of disc.

My Burner only does 1x or 2x so maybe i need a new DVD Burner?

You can get a 48 speed DVD/CD burner with Lightscribe
