Duplicating desltop on two monitors

  [DELETED] 17:04 24 Feb 2006

For training purposes, I would like to duplicate my desktop image on another monitor (I think this is referred to as 'cloned').

I'm aware that a VGA splitter cable will provide the solution, but my primary TFT monitor is connected via the DVI connector on my PC’s Radeon 9700 Pro w/TV out" video card and I can't locate a DVI splitter cable.

I've used the 'dual monitors' facility on the display settings panel but I only seem to be able to achieve extending my desktop onto the second monitor.

Am I missing something or do I need to install a second video card to 'clone' my desktop onto the other monitor?

Any advice gratefully received.
