duplicate files

Is there any way to identify duplicate files? (particularly picture files) so that the duplicates can be deleted. Trying to do it by looking for individual files would be hopeless.

That looks useful - bookmarked for when I get home to do some tidying up this weekend!

compared dupelocator with Chegs suggestion- Doublekiller, seemed much more professional and user friendly. uninstalled dupelocator. Thanks anyway.

Forgot to ser a system restore point when using doublekiller (free) and set it to auto remove duplicates. Somehow I lost some files and a couple of programs didnt work anymore. Therefore had to go back quite a long way to get a clean point and then re-install the programmes.
Moral is set a restore or backup before installing or uninstalling
