drag and drop facility disfunctional

  Krakker 13:54 05 Dec 2004

draging a file to a folder renders the file inaccessible. Any subsequent request for access is refused. Error message "Cannot rename/delete/etc file or folder" "Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use". I would appreciate any info re. fix. No restore points available

It depends how you drag and drop, a lot of the time if you drag and drop with the left button it just creates a shortcut. This depends on the Program that you are using, there does not seem to be any consistency with drag and drop. As you have found out, some programs like nero work better using the above way in the program as does my USB link cable.
