Downloading from digital voice recorder

  Verbose 16:19 13 Mar 2010

I have some telephone messages recorded on a small digital voice recorder which I want to load onto my PC then burn to disc. The recorder comes with a usb cable but the instructions are in gobbledygook and I don't know how to proceed. Can anyone suggest software which would do the job and how to go about it?
Thanks in anticipation.

If it's possible to connect the recorder to the PC and hear the voice messages through the PC, then you can use Audacity click here to record them in mp3 format and then burn to CD using your burning software.

Also, the recorder's manufacturer might have the driver you require on their website. What is the make and model of the recorder and which operating system is installed on your PC?
