Is there a way you can download the XP updates onto your hard drive and save them as a file. The reason I ask is that my hard drive decided to die and as such have had to do a full reload, now I have spent the last 2 dyas trying to put on all the critcal updates etc. If I could save them to a CDRW, then if these happens again (God forbid) I can put them straight back on.

Cheers Dave

you could also try d/loading big fix on father in law pc from click here and it would automatically alert to new updates and give a click here link to install, probably much safer and simpler.

cheers.

Thanx everyone - now all I have to decide is which download to install, but I shall work it out.
