I found this file under MY Documents which I dont remember downloading at all.(old age ?!!) Apparently it belongs to MS windows which updates the Net. technology. When I clicked on it I was asked whether I am ready to install it. Well, I am not sure whether this has been installed or not and how it came there. Shall I just ignore it or shall I install and hope for the best ?

Some software needs .Net to work/install.I found my PC became a tad "erratic" when I installed .Net Framework,so I looked up alternative apps that didn't need .Net.

If your apps all work(without it)I would leave well alone, but its mostly a case of personal preferences. :-)

It's this click here.

Unless you want to run an application developed using .NET, you don't need it and can safely delete it.

Thanks. I still cant figure out how it came. I normally keep a log of everything that I download but this one is not there. I will just ignore it although it is 23MB. Regards.
