DOS commands;(creating batch files).

  [DELETED] 16:03 28 Jul 2003

A user wants a batch file which copies all of their files from the C:\FINANCE and C:\DOCUMENT directories onto a floppy disk and then lists tha contents of the floppy disk. Write a batch file to do this.
A PATH of C:\DOC;C:\WINDOWS exists on the computer. You type in the command CHECKIT and the file CHECKIT.TXT exists in the C:\WINDOWS directory. Explain the steps the computer would go through to try and interpret this command nd also what the final result would be.

I get the feeling you want us to answer some kind of test you are undertaking.

Search on google for dos commands, familiarise yourself with them, then pass the test with flying colours.

Good luck.

Things to think about when you do the project -

Check the floppies are empty

Should you be updating, or copying willy-nilly

You need to take into account what is needed if the floppy fills up

And how to do the list from more than one floppy

Q2 - why not try it and see what happens?
