DOS 9pin printer working with W. XP?

I have a printer marked Trend JP-130I (manufacturer not shown)and lot of unused compatible ribbons marked Mannesmann Tally MT80/81. For simple line by line printing of text documents would be useful.
I cannot make it work with Windows XP Home. I downloaded 9pin drivers: Tally T2030 and T2130 . They say that because I can read their mesage - they are the proper ones. But they do not print properly one line after another. They print one line 3-5 times (changing a bit lower each time) and then go to next line an so on.
Is it the case of wrong driver (any idea which is the right one) or can I simply adjust it somehow to work as it should?

Try installing the Generic 9 pin printer - and/or Generic Text Only - they work at very basic levels in compatability modes.
