Do I need these?

I am trying to de clutter my PC
I use Foxit for my default reader
Do I also need the following which are installed
Adobe down load manager
adobe flash player 10 plug in
adobe flash player 9 active x
adobe flash player active x

The Adobe programs you have installed are nothing to do with Adobe Reader - Flash is needed to access many websites - so therefore should all be kept.

What do you mean by declutter? They are not "in the way" really. You need flash programs for the browsers, etc. you could uninstall them all then reinstall when asked by the browser or some other program insists you install it. Best thing could be to uninstall everything but those obvious ones and then reinstall when needed.

Some programs may set themelves up ready when turning on (e.g. Open Office suite) and may offer the option not to to speed up starting.

Don't forget to defrag after a major reorganisation like that.
