dns server

I have just set up peer to peer wireless sharing
laptop to pc
following problems with zone alarm I followed a step by step which told me to use the dns address of both computers as trusted zones
it works great but is it safe to have the internet set as trusted?
will it still act as firewall and stop anybody accessing my pc's ?
if i change it to "internet" it will not let the laptop have access

I assume what you mean is that you have set up both computers so that there IP addresses are in the Trusted Zone. If this is the case then this should not be a problem or put you at risk. The firewall should still protect your system.

Yes i did "ipconfig" on both and entered them as trusted zones on zone alarm
Also I have diabled "wep" security on the network
is zone alarm enough to stop wireless neighbours from accessing network?

The firewall should block any other access attempts, although the likelyhood of any hacking of your own personal network is very unlikely.
