What does it do the the Windows version doesn't?

It is faster for one thing. If you pay for the full version, it will monitor defragmentation in the background and defrag as required ('Set it and forget it').

Microsoft do a free Pc check which will include a De frag..

It's a new service it works well, go to.

If your Laptop needs Defragging, it's going to take a while. You can use the Windows defragger but it's slow. It could take up to 12 hours.

Things to do:

Plug into the Mains.

Open in Safe Mode.

Turn off all Screen Savers and Energy Saver Options.

Press - Start > All Programs > Accessories > Systems Tools > Disk Cleanup.

Run that, and then run Disk Defragmenter.

Be prepared for it to take several hours.
