Disconnecting from internet

  Hamish I 18:48 29 May 2006

I have just signed up for an "Anytime" service with my Internet Service Provider, and everything seems fine, but in the process I seem to have lost the icon on the task bar which allows me to disconnect in the absence of the question along the lines of "Do you want to stay connected/disconnect?" Can anyone tell me how to restore the icon, please?

Go to network connections and right click on the relevant connection. From there you can choose properties and tick the box to show in taskbar when connected (or something along those lines...).

Thanks, Diodorus Siculus, but how do I go to network connections? Sorry to be so dim.
