My friend has the following prob which Im unable to help him with. He has used Patition Magic 8 to create more discs on his hard drive. He has then tried to change the drive letters on the drives using microsofts Disc Manager. When he clicks on D.M to open it he gets the message.( The local disc manager is disabled, connection cannot be established) Can anyone advise him on how to enable the Disc Manager. Your help appreciated

Right click my computer > manage > services and aplications > services.

Scroll down to logical disk manager ( 2 entrys ), set to manual.

It might work?

Start/Run/type msconfig/Enter/Sevices tab/scroll down and make sure Logical Disc Manager is ticked
