Hiya all,

I want to disable Internet Options / Properties and can do by adding this to the registry

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions]
"NoBrowserOptions"=dword:1

BUT that only restricts this option when the user goes TOOLS--> Internet Options.

If the user right clicks on the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop and selects Properties they can still access the internet options.

How do I disable this aswell

Remove "Internet Explorer" from the desktop and replace it with a "Shortcut" to Internet Explorer. This would then behave as a coventional shortcut when right clicked, rather than opening "Internet Options".

Right click a blank part of the desktop, select Properties, then the Desktop tab. Click the "Customize" button and, in the box that opens, untick "Internet Explorer". Click "OK" out of the boxes.

Now create a shortcut on the desktop to:

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
