Direct Access Component error at startup

I get this error on startup of my win/xp based machine. No new files have been added in the last two weeks, and it has only been happening for two days now. Below is all of the information i can get from the error, Any ideas?

"Direct Access Component has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

A quick Google returns "tfswctrl.exe is an essential process for HP's packet writing software which
burns data to CD's using Microsoft Windows explorer"

Uninstall and re-install any HP software you have

I removed old DLA software for my HP cd writer. Cheers!
