Digital Rights Error on new laptop

  Eric W 14:52 16 Mar 2018

Tried to run a Prime video on new laptop and got message 'Your web browser is missing a digital rights component.' Followed instruction to try to find WidevineCdm to click to check for update but it didn't appear. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure it is activated and updated in Plugins on Firefox. If you use a different browser you would need to search for it in that.

Make sure DRM is enabled or your browser won't be able to show it in order for you to enable it. For Firefox go to Tools, Options and tick the DRM box. If you are not using Firefox there will be somewhere in your browser Options that should allow you to enable DRM.

Is this the link you looked at? Try Edge to see if working okay. Might be worth resetting Chrome, if that's your default browser, and see if it works without extensions for now.
