I am about to buy a digital camera that comes with a card reader. What is this?

Is your question "what is a card reader" ? If so it is a removable drive, in this case an external drive attached by USB, into which you place the cameras' memory card for fast transfer of photos to your PC. It saves on batteries being drained by transferring the pics direct from your camera to the PC.

Which camera is it ?
