What is the difference between two sticks of Ram of the same capacity and speed, ie 8gb and 1333MHZ but one has 8chips on each side making 16 total and the other has 4 chips each side making 8 total? Thanks for quick response.
No. They are functionally identical but may have other parameters that are slightly different such as latency etc. This is why it is best to use identical RAM in all the computers memory sockets or you risk a small chance of data corruption.
