desktop icon size

Is it possible to have different size icons on the desktop at the same time?
i.e. all those ones not used often left at the normal size and a big one in the middle waiting to be clicked on.
I'm running Vista HP on one machine & W7 Ultimate on another.

I don't think you can have different sizes. What you can do is create a new folder and call it 'Little used' or something, and drag the unused icons into that.

If this is something you go to first, add it to Startup so it opens at, well, Startup. I have Windows Mail do just that.

Thanks for the replies.
Doesn't seem that easy or straightforward.
It's just that I keep hearing someone in the house saying "Where's the explorer icon again?" so a BIG button is what's needed.
Oh well...maybe I'll just shift all the others to the left and leave the one required sitting in the middle.
Thanks again

Why not drag the explorer icon down onto the quick launch toolbar (next to the start button).
