How do I remove the CDrom on my Dell Dimension 8100 ?.Normally there are screws, but these have clips that seem unmovable.

In my Dell 4300, it is attached to green plastic sliders, if you squeeze the tops of the green sliders together it will just pull out.It may be the same in the 8100.

Thanks, On the 8100, I have now found out, after removing the side panel (Button on the front ),you then have to find the catch that releases the front panel of the computer, then there is clip either side of the CDROM, which you have to press together (too small for fingers--had to use 2 pens), you can then release a CDROM drive. Putting a new drive in is easy, just push in and when it clicks, it locks.
