Deleting Ghostboot Partition causes Wins 2K stop

Cloning S/W: Symantec Ghost 7.5
Operating system being cloned/imaged: Windows 2000
File system being cloned/imaged: NT FS
Drive interface type: Standard IDE

The image I just finished on Wins 2000 PC had two partitions: C and
Ghostboot. By mistake, I deleted the Ghostboot partition from Disk
Management. After restart, the following appears:

"Windows 2000 could not start because of a computer disk hardware
configuration problem,
Could not read from the selected boot disk, check boot bath and disk
hardware.
Please check windows 2000(TM) document and manuals for additional
information"

I have tried to edit boot.ini file and also activiate the C drive by
Partition Magic. None of them helps.

Can anyone help?

Rob.

Have you tried the recovery console on the Win2k cd? I am not sure of it but it may be able to get you going again.
