I have been trying to ascimilate what is happening and the only way i can do it is shift-del, which will bypass deleted items folder, are you doing the same..

No SANTOS7, I don't use shift-del, I actually hit the Delete button every time I want to Delete.

I must have done something wrong somewhere but can't remember what. The only thing is if I delete by mistake an e-mail now I can't restore it back to Inbox.

Thanks

Hi Maybe the Deleted items folder is damaged or corrupted,

1. Quit Outlook Express.
2. Right-click the Start button, and then click Find or Search.
3. Search for the Deleted Items.dbx file.
4. Right-click the file, click Delete, and then click Yes.
5. Start Outlook Express, and then try again to delete a message

A new folder will be automatically be created,
