Can I delete subjects in the search bars of search engines?

With Google toolbar, Click on the word Google at the left hand end of the bar - and click Clear Serch History.

Others are likely similar.

Go to the “Tools” menu
Select “Internet Options”
Select the “Content” tab
Within the “Personal Information” area, select “AutoComplete”
To clear the current history, click on “Clear Forms”
To disable this feature entirely, uncheck the “Forms” box.

If you want to get rid of some and not all the entries then say for example you are using Google and you wish to get rid of pcadvisor from the search bar , type the letter p , it will then show all the entries beginning with the letter p , using your mouse highlight pcadvisor and tap the delete button on your keyboard and voila - job done , pcadvisor is no longer in the history and will not show up in the records if you type the letter p again.

CCleaner - and other similar apps - can delete any or all MRU lists from your system and caches.
