Can any one tell me wether there is a simple add on to put the DAY of the week on a toolbar, not the popup @ the clock that is the DATE

I use Titlebar Clock. click here It's pretty good and unobtrusive. You can have just the day displayed or you can have, day, month, time and Memory displayed.

Have just installed it. It is a very good add on and as you say, unobstrusive.

I've been using it for years on Win98SE first and then XP. I'm not sure how/if it works on Vista though.

With Vista you can add a calendar to the sidebar which gives the day of the week.

That's a great little applet - never come across it before.

All you need to do is pull the toolbar up to double height - and on a 1280x1024 19" dsplay you get time - day of week - and date - one above the other.

Has other benefits too with multiple windows open.
