Data Verification failure...

Evenin' all.

I have just burnt about 3 gigs worth of Jpegs onto a DVD using Nero, and I asked it to verify the process afterwards to be safe.

I got the message 'Data Verification Failed', but the DVD seems to show all the images perfectly as far as I can see, with access to them being quick and easy.

After much help here from Ed, I am now using Ritek discs on a new external NEC DVD burner. All is working very well except this glitch and I was wondering how serious if at all such a message is.

Is multi-tasking on the PC a bad idea at the same time? Might this cause issues?

They are important files (to me) and I need to be sure they are safe before I contemplate erasing from my HDD.

Thoughts please?

Many thanks in advance,
