I have a data tape drive but the bios can't find it? how can I use it? I have windows 98

Have you set the BIOS to autodetect the various drives?

Do you have any drivers for Win98 for the tape drive?

I don't know about windows 98, it won't boot up if I connect the data tape drive and my bios won't auto detect it, HELP!

Could be a power problem... what rating is your PSU?

12 V [I think] BUt my other pc won't use it either, I have tried both of my drives I have ot on two different PCs but the BIOS just says there is nothing there, It uses the Hard drive IDE cable not the floppy.
