Data Storage

I am looking for a reasonably priced storage solution to load documents pictures etc from my computer which have outgrown a Memory stick.
The data would need to stay on this for sometime as a back up.
I am thinking of something like a iceybox I think it's called to give you an idea of price maybe £20-£35. Basically as always the best orice for the most memory.
Would appreciate any advice.Thanks

Just to add to this. Not knowing much about compatability, my husband is replacing his 40GB 2.5 Notebook HDD, to upgrade. Could this HDD be used in anyway ie is it compatable with a Windows Vista PC.

You could buy a suitable USB caddy to put the HDD in. But you would need to get the right type of caddy - 2.5" and for the right type of disk (IDE or SATA).

It would probably be better just to get a complete external (USB) HDD - see click here for a huge selection at reasonable prices.

So that's a Yes we could use it but it's probably worth getting a new one anyway. Thanks
