Damaged packaging on Lenovo delivery

  jezmd67 19:00 11 Mar 2019

Last week I bought a Lenovo Yoga C930 directly from Lenovo. It arrived today but the packaging was in exceptionally poor condition. This was clearly because insufficient padding had been used in the outter brown box and the bid split and tore. The actual box containing the laptop has a slight mark on one corner, but other than that appears fine. Is it possible that invisible damage could have been caused to the machine by it rattling around in the box in transit?

Thanks very much for any advice.

Sealed Box, within a box, with an expanded polystyrene lining. Should be OK.

Only if seal is broken or that polystyrene final container is breached, should you have a problem

I would have taken a few photos before opening the outer box and some after opening it just in case. You never can be certain.
