D drive corrupted will not read drive

when i click on my D drive it wont allow me to open it comes up saying it might be corrupted or unreadable i put music on to the drive then after that i could not access it ive got pics and musci all on there t hat i need to get back is there a way or have i lost them for good i tried to do the fix errors etc but when i click on ok it just disapears from screen plz help

The first thing I would do is get another drive and use a program such as Acronis True Image, create the boot disc and attempt to clone the corrupted drive.

If the clone goes through successfully, then there is a chance you can recover the data from the clone drive.
