Something has happened to my pc. Most of my applications will no longer open and i get the above message. I have a manufactures recovery CD and i have used the repair option. However, the problem continues. Can anyone help please, i am failry new to all this and need to get this sorted out urgently. Thanks

Dont know what OS u useing but that file isnt on my pc win 98se and im pretty sure it not a windows file have a look here may help click here.

I am using XP Home. The system restore does not work.The exact message is windows cannot find rundll32.exe.

Start-Run-SFC /scannow

which should restore the damaged file (if sfc works of course...).
