I have had this problem before and now my gf is getting it.whenever you cross reference a figure (say figure 1) in the text, some of those cross references introduce a huge space in front of it.so instead of reading:"see figure 1"it would be:"see figure 1" or something to tht effect. its really irritating. does it with all cross references and its a 100 page document.anuone know how to fix it? (it seems to do it when updating all references like updating the contents page o something).thanks
crap. this forum didnt let me put the big space in front of "figure" in the second example
I've found that this occurs if the Figure being referenced is immediately preceded by a page or section break.
it doesnt seem exclusively limited to that instance.... thanks VOG
