Depends what you want to do on the laptop?

There are faster cpu,s out there.

  crownum 17:11 20 Jun 2006

games, internet, msn and just want to know if it make the laptop boot up quick click here

  wolfie3000 17:16 20 Jun 2006

As for bootup time well that depends on what programs are goona be running on bootup.

As for gaming well it will run most games but you will have to check on the game box for minimum specs.

But all in all quite a good machine for the price.

thanks fou my all the help m8 but if i give you all of my current laptop specs could you tell me what laptop is better.

  wolfie3000 17:19 20 Jun 2006

sure if you want but laptop specs are very subjective.

  crownum 17:23 20 Jun 2006

ok here they are:

Mobile Intel Pentium 4 2.40ghz 400Mhz Fsb

2x512mb pc2800 ram = 1gb (1gb Max)

100gb hard drive 5400rpm

15.1 Inch screen 1400x1050 resolution

2 1/2 hours battery

dvd/rw drive

64mb nvidia quadro 700gl

  wolfie3000 17:29 20 Jun 2006

well the specs for your pc are good but yes i would say that the Sony vaio VGN-FE21B maqcine is better as the gfx card is more powerfull and the cpu is faster but the hard drive is smaller at 80 GIG.

So in conclusion the sony vaio is better.

  crownum 17:32 20 Jun 2006

Thanks m8 ill sell my laptop and get the vaio

  wolfie3000 17:34 20 Jun 2006

Dont be to hastey as i said system specs are subjective there might be a better deal out there best to take your time and consider all the options.
