Coverage area of WIFI LAN

  reddwarfcrew 20:48 18 Jun 2006

I have a WIFI Kinksys router, but the WIFI coverage only seems to be around 10 meters.

As Bluetooth can coverage up to 100 meters, this seems very low.

Is this normal or is there something that I should be doing to extend the coverage area?

It depends on you router and other hardware Plus what the signal as to go through. any amount of steel will reduce it

Putting your router upstairs can increase the effective coverage.
