Corrupted Internet Connection

I have a problem which is making our usage of the internet a sheer misery. Basically, I seem to have been infected by a pest which simply can't be shaken off. There are three symptoms:- (a) 'Find Hot Porn on the Net' keeps appearing in my 'favourites' list; (b) the website 'Rightfinder' keeps taking over as my default home page; and (c) every time I type a website address "click here?" is automatically inserted before it and then I get a message saying that the website I have requested can't be found.

I have Adaware and Spybot on my XP system and keep using these facilities to try and clear this mess. I have set 'blank' as my default home page and I have been into the registry and cleared suspect URLs and RAS phone numbers but even though the system appears to be cleansed, when I switch back on the following day,all this rubbish appears again. It seems to be deeply embedded.

Can any lister please tell me how to get rid of this damned nuisance please?

Many thanks

Have you looked in add/remove programs for anything that may be 'new' or that you possibly havent installed? If you are using XP try to restore back to the last time you can remember your pc working properly
