corrupt file

Hi I have a folder on a flash drive that I can't delete or drag and drop into the recycle bin as it says that it has a corrupt file in the folder. Any ideas how i can get rid of it please. Thanks.

Can you format the drive?

as above

D.S. if I do format the drive do I have to take all the other files off first.

Yes, or you will lose them.

When you format, everything will be lost so save what you want first and check them when you have saved them to ensure that they really are saved.

You may have a small chance to save the file, once you have plugged in the flash drive, find your drive letter to the flash drive, right click this/properties/tools/error checking and defrag.

Like i is only a small chance, but worth a go.
