Cordless phone conflicts with Wireless internet?

  GEEKSTA 11:30 23 Dec 2006

I have got wireless internet on all my computers and when I use my cordless home phone and when im on the internet, the internet signal stops and when i try to re connect to my router it doesnt work.
When i turn the phone off or go away with the phone and then try to connect it works.

So obviously the phone is conflicting with my intenet. (IS IT REALLY?)
How do I resolve this? (without having to go away with the phone?) ?

I have got broadband and using a PCI card for internet.
Router is NETGEAR WGR614.
Cordless Phone is Panasonic.

When all else fails - read the instructions ;-0
Most cordless phones have the opportunity to change channels if interference is being experienced
Have you tried this?

Ill try that.
Ill have to find/dig the instruction out first lol.
Thanks anyway.

Maybe something to try, open the routers configuration page and look for the channel number....lets say its selected to channel 6,change this to say 11.

This is what i would say is the most obvious step first, look under something like setup.
