Copying tape's to CD

Hi,
I want to save some old tape recordings to cd,
but the sound recoder with XP is only good for 60 sec. What can I use ?

Hi, you need a soundcard such as Soundblaster Audigy2.

You will probably need to get some form of 'recording' software, such as click here (I know that is a USA site, but it shows the type of prroduct I mean)

This shgould do the trick, I converted a few taped with v.1 of Audio cleaning lab years ago. And before anyone says that is piracy, they were Demo tapes given to me by a now split up local Rock Group, so the option to buy them on CD was not there.
