Copying from minidisc to PC

I compile and edit music tracks on minidisc (Sony MDS JB930)

I would like then to record from there to data CDs on PC via portable system (as PC is in different part of house )

Can I do that with an iPOD or do you know of any portable minidisc player which I could connect to PC ?

Yes the Sony MZ N707 is one of many that are connected via USB.

Just to confirm ..... will the MZ N707 allow me to copy from minidiscs to data CDs via PC ?

sorry I was a bit to quick, the Sony software stops the copy to disk,if I find a way past it I will post again.

I remember doing transfers from a mini-disk unit to a PC, via the analogue connectors and the sound card input, with no problems whatsoever. And then converting to MP3 to burn both data CDs and audio CDs, via Nero.
