I have just run this tool and it has come up with 'C\WINDOWS\smcfg.exe' as something which ought to be checked. I have no idea what this file is, or if it should be removed. Please help!Regards Micklemouse
I think it's part of the modem files you will have to look in driver props for the modem
click hereclick here You will find smcfg.exe listed in the files list from the second link--It appears to be a modem driver. Try running Adaware and Spybot S&D to see if they find anything--but I thing you would be better leaving this file alone---Unless someone on the forum can throw more light on the subject.
thanks, Sicknote but where do I find the modem props?
Thank you everyone,, I know now that modem file or no modem file, I ain't going to delete it.Regards Micklemouse
