Hi, i play counter strike 1.6 and i rent a server. The servers OS is linux and i have a windows computer. I want to add some things to the sevrer but all i can do for these plugins is .zip file, is there anyway of converting them to linux files or not?

the files in them are fine, because they are the same as the main mod on server (.amx)

I believe linux uses .tar and .gz etc - you can recompress or extract the files with 7Zip click here which supports such files.

but if the files in the .zip file are the correct format for the sevrer should it matter?

I have no real experience of Linux beyond Live-CD's, so I couldn't say, except to say Linux must support .zip files or it wouldn't be very popular.
