Control Panel access problem.Windows XP.

Every time i try to access my control panel,i get a message saying ,Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience......Please help.............:(

The first link refers to the updated update, 823980 security patch (MS03-026).

In case you can't find it, here's a summary:

If you key in 823980 into the Knowledge Base ID field (go to click here, click on Support in left hand menu and then Knowledge Base from the sub-menu) it will take you to the right page.
