How do I stop the file Content IE5 from filling up?
It fills up with EVERY picture I ever view on the net and every file too. It is filling my hard drive and i would like some space back!

When I use the internet i get pictures from all over the page being saved there... from buttons to icons to... you get the idea!

Any ideas folk?

Run click here from time to time.

That's what the IE5 (temporary internet files ) folder is for - to record all of your internet 'movements'.

To safely delete its contents (and a lot of other crap as well) download, install and run click here

Easy peasy - stop using the internet.

In IE go to Tools; Internet Options, Advanced and tick 'Empty Temporary Internet files folder when browser is closed'

Jackcoms's method is the best way.
