Hi there i am an AOL user " Version 9".I am using BB Platinum edition and my OS is Win2K.I am networked via Cable and wireless. My router is a Netgear DG 834gt. Now and again I lose the connection with an error message " Connection lost due to a TCP/IP Virtual Timeout". Not exactly a problem as aol is configured to re-connect. But could someone tell me what it means please. By the way i get same message on my laptop using WinXP home Sp2. Many thanks.

Many thanks for that BH 34. I forgot to mention i have Win2k Pro so that link make sense.Oh well i will have to put up with it.I assume it only affects routers as my previous Modem was a BT Voyager and i never got cut off. I have ticked this off as resolved. ty
