Connecting to word files on dreamweaver site

I have a problem with my connection of an icon to open a word document... I've done it before, ie: pointing to a file of dreamweaver, but for some reason, the file is pointed to, but goes to a page not found result, rather than the word file?
Any ideas, any one? Thanks

I copied the file into my specific web folder, and can see it on the local view of the uploading bit... I merely dragged the 'target/sights' icon to the file and it links (this has worked in the past...) and for the life of me can't see why it does not work this time!
