Connecting Video Camera to PC

Is it possible to connect a NON-DIGITAL Video camera to a PC and then edit the video using software ie. Adobe Premiere.

I'm sure I've seen equipment which can do this, instead of using a Digital Camera and a Firewire port.

Any information appreciated, thanks.

As I pointed out however, my camera is not digital and I'd assume previous posts on this subject revolve aroudn Digital Video cameras connected though a Firewire port.

Not true. I use Dazzle Fusion. You can connect anything to it (DV, VHS, Beta, Camcorders etc..) At the moment I am transferring all my Beta tapes to DVD. It works off USB. There is also this one to look at as well. click here
